I have to ask: Who is Valen?
:-) Valen (short for Valentina)is one of my students. She's just finished 1st grade turned 7 years old in 2009) and 2009 was also the first year she took English lessons with me. Her favourite colours are pink and purple, so I made the pink&purple feast for her, and the rest of the images are related to the work we did during the year. We all grew very attached (Valen, her mum, my mum and me)and it was a great experience -I'd never thought having 1-to-1 lessons with a child could be so much fun for both of us! We also have a blog, but we decided to keep it open just to family.
